Lego My Vote! Ontario's 2018
Welcome to the ninth edition of Lego My Vote! Ontario's 2018 election was a typical First-Past-the-Post fiasco. One party, with only 40% of the vote now controls the entire legislature with unilateral power. That's right: six out of ten voters didn't want the Conservatives to lead.. yet now that same party is implementing their "mandate from the voters".
Furthermore, even before election day, voters had been affected by the voting system because First-Past-the-Post doesn't allow new parties to form organically. Instead, it protects a small handful of parties which limits choice and feeds voter cynicism and apathy.
