The 16th edition of Lego My Vote!
Yesterday, in Mississauga, voters were asked to choose a new mayor. 69% did not vote for Carolyn Parrish, yet she was declared the winner - against the will of the majority.
If you consider that voter turnout was only 25%, you’ll see that Parrish secured the support of only 18% of eligible voters. Hardly a mandate.
As long as Canada uses First Past the Post, we’ll continue to highlight the flaws, using Lego - or donuts!
